why do i make?

My art is a form of aesthetic storytelling. Through the lens of fabrication, drawing, and painting my practice is deeply rooted in conceptualism focused on unearthing meaning through various mediums and rediscovering objects that reference centuries of artisanal and craft-based objects within the African diaspora. My photography is a form of archiving and documenting life as I see and experience it.

where to find me?

Social media is not my preferred platform for connecting. I am much more inclined to connect through a series of hand-written letters but since it is too slow for our fast-paced society, I am also open to emails, and dms.
